11/11 Played with particle systems. Regretting missing the class where we went over them. Tried out the water I added last time with the oculus, and it ended up bright purple and only in one eye so I scrapped that. Added a plane, gave it a water normal map, high smoothness and metallic, then added the scale fluctuation script to it. A little messy but does the job. Added a different set of prefab hands (the ones from the steam assets), they showed up but were in the wrong place. Played with the environment and lighting settings to get a different feel for the environment. Made a pretty instant change.
11/19 Worked on the end area of the map today. Added more lighting to areas of the map to guide players where I want them to go. Asked chatgpt for a code to have the lights gradually brighten and dim. Used it on different light sources at different speeds and intensities to create some dissonance as the player goes up the ramp. Added some sound attached to the water for ambiance. Added more textures and grass to the terrain. Added walls, and some more movement physics to those walls.
